New STEM books added to the the library collection to support our future leaders!
In June 2020, Mrs. Chang wrote a grant to add more STEM books to the library collection. All of these new books fall into the critical academic STEM areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. Mrs. Chang hopes to infuse the critical STEM non-fiction book areas of the library with books that will inform, interest, and excite students and teachers. The books are meant to encourage students in learning more about these subject areas. Mrs. Chang also urges to teachers to take advantage of the new materials and use them for lessons and classroom units.
Having the most current, relevant, and best books in the critical areas of STEM supports the student population and the secondary teachers at Ipswich Middle/High School. Our future leaders are our secondary students; and we must provide them with information in their school library that will reflect modern advances in these STEM fields as well as excite and move students into bold new futures.
